Official Cornhole Board & Court Dimensions
The regulation cornhole court puts the two boards 27 feet apart, front edge to front edge. Here is the full setup, drawn to scale, with the board and hole measurements that matter.
| Regulation distance | 27 ft between front edges of the two boards |
|---|---|
| Board size | 2 ft wide by 4 ft long, raised 12 in at the back, 3 to 4 in at the front |
| Hole | 6 in diameter, centered 9 in down from the top edge and 12 in from each side |
| Bags | 6 in by 6 in, about 15 to 16 oz, 4 per player |
| Players | 2 (singles) or 4 (doubles) |
| Throwing line | Even with the front of each board (foul line) |
Regulation is 27 feet board to board, but for kids or a tight yard there is no shame in sliding the boards in to 15 to 20 feet so every toss has a real shot.
