Bocce Ball Court Size, Layout & Full Measurements
A regulation bocce court runs about 13 feet wide by 91 feet long with a foul line near each end. Here is the layout to scale, plus the ball sizes and the rule for tossing the pallino.
| Court size | About 13 ft wide by 91 ft long (regulation); club courts range 8 to 13 ft by 60 to 91 ft |
|---|---|
| Ball size | 107 mm (about 4.2 in) bocce balls, 4 per side |
| Pallino | Small target ball, about 40 to 60 mm, tossed past the center line |
| Players | 2, 4, or up to 8 |
| Foul line | Near each end; you must release before stepping over it |
Most backyards never see a 91 foot court, and that is fine. Bocce plays great on any open, level patch of grass or dirt; just agree on the ends and a foul line before the first roll.
